Transcript
Last night, six people were shot dead in their beds in this house. Thirteen months later, we moved in anyway.
I am Kathy Lutz. December eighteen, seventy five. George, the kids, Harry, and I moved into 112 Ocean Avenue. We knew everything. We came anyway.
Night one, the walls began to sweat. A green black slime oozed down the plaster. I scrubbed it. By morning, it was back. Flies swarmed in winter, and a cold settled in that no fire could kill.
My Missy talked about her friend Jodie, who stood outside her window. Two red eyes burned at me through the dark. They were watching. Jodie.
George changed. He woke at three fifteen every morning, the hour of the shots. His face went hollow. Then my body rose off the bed and floated toward the ceiling.
Twenty eight days in, we grabbed the kids and ran. We never went back. Not for the furniture. Not for anything. Stitch this if you would have lasted one night. Follow for Part 3, it gets worse. Sleep with the lights on, if you can.
Dramatized for the telling. The facts above are documented; the narration is the Draugr’s retelling of them.
