Transcript

Six people were shot dead in their beds in this house. Thirteen months later, a family moved in anyway.

November nineteen seventy four. Ronald DeFeo Junior, twenty three, moved room to room at 112 Ocean Avenue with a Marlin rifle. Six bodies, face down. The neighbors heard nothing. No silencer was ever found.

December nineteen seventy five. The Lutzes bought the Dutch Colonial for eighty thousand, knowing its history. They moved in on December eighteen, three kids and the dog. Twenty eight days later, they fled.

The Lutzes swore the house fought them from night one. Father Pecoraro came to bless it, and said a voice told him, Get out! Flies swarmed in winter. Cold the fire could not kill.

George woke at three fifteen every morning, the hour of the shots. Red eyes at the children's window. Something downstairs was just getting started.

Stitch this if you would spend one night in that house. Follow for Part Two, it gets worse. Sleep with the lights on, if you can.

Dramatized for the telling. The facts above are documented; the narration is the Draugr’s retelling of them.
