EP40: "England's MOST HAUNTED House Burned Down. It Never Left." Victim POV: Marianne Foyster. Docu-stamp: Borley, Essex, October 1930.
The wall wrote my name in pencil. Marianne, please help get. I lived in England's most haunted house... and it knew my name.
Borley Rectory, Essex. Nineteen thirty. Bells rang with no hands to pull them. A servant found a skull in brown paper. Then Harry Price came.
Then the writings. Messages on our walls overnight, begging for help, in unknown handwriting. One night, something cold closed around my throat. [WHISPER] Marianne... please help get.
A seance reached a nun named Marie Lairre. Murdered, she said, walled up alive beneath the house. Then a second voice: Sunex Amures. It promised the rectory would burn and reveal her bones.
February twenty-seventh, nineteen thirty-nine. A tipped oil lamp, and Borley Rectory burned to the ground. A neighbor swore the nun watched from a window. Years later, workmen found a young woman's bones in the cellar.
The report says fraud. Skeptics say my hand held the pencil. But the bones were real. Stitch this if you would spend one night at Borley. Follow for a new true nightmare every day. Sleep with the lights on... if you can.
Dramatized for the telling. The facts above are documented; the narration is the Draugr’s retelling of them.
