Asked by the Dreaded
Questions
Are the stories true?
From episode 16 on, yes. Every nightmare is drawn from a documented real event: a haunting with witnesses, an unsolved case with records, a paranormal encounter people swore happened. We dramatize. We never invent. The dread comes from what actually happened.
Who is the Draugr?
An undead Norse warrior who crawled out of his burial mound and decided to narrate horror stories. He is the voice you hear in every episode. He takes the stories very seriously. You should too.
How often do new episodes come out?
Two a day. One in the morning, one at night. Every day. The Draugr does not sleep, so neither do you.
Where can I watch?
Right here in the archive, or on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. New episodes land on all of them.
What is the hidden mark in each episode?
Every episode hides a bind-rune mark somewhere in the visuals. Finding it is part of the hunt. Open the Grimoire and try the Mark Hunt to test your eyes.
What are Oath Rings?
The currency of the Dreaded. Earn them in the Grimoire by finding hidden marks and finishing episodes. Spend them on rank, unlock hidden lore, and climb the ladder from Karl to Einherji.
Can I submit a story?
Yes. Use the Submit page. It must be a documented true story, not something you made up. If it checks out, the Draugr may tell it.
Is there merch?
Yes. The shop carries the current line: hats, beanies, hoodies, and more. Small catalog, Viking to the bone.
Are there games?
Two. Haunt of the Draugr and Flight from the Barrow. Both free, both playable in your browser.
